Pelican Reef Villas Resort

Wonderful break in an idyllic location - Elsa was a super star and so helpful, breakfast delicious and we had a wonderful stay - we loved it! Thank you!

Pelican Reef was a wonderful place to stay for our first visit to Belize. We liked being further away from the downtown area. It was quieter and calmer, but still walking distance or a short golf cart ride to many amazing restaurants. It’s small enough that it feels intimate, but large enough to have breakfast, lunch, a great bar, and plenty of helpful staff. Everyone who works there is so kind and friendly and they start to feel like family by the time you leave. Elsa is amazing and always ready to help (booking excursions, making reservations for restaurants, giving advice on where to go and how best get there, etc.). She made our vacation as easy and enjoyable as possible. The condo was large enough for our family of four, with a nice kitchen and powerful air conditioning. We were picked up for our excursions from the dock there, which was so convenient. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Pelican Reef again.

My friend and I recently stayed at Pelican Reef, and the experience and rooms exceeded our expectations. The entire staff is super friendly. Pelican Reef is in a nice, quiet location. Would recommend it to anyone.

Can't say enough good things about all the aspects of this hotel. Best part is the people wear very nice and caring.

I had an excellent stay from Saturday through Wednesday. 3-bedroom unit was very spacious and could comfortably fit anywhere from 6-8 people. Staff was incredible and focused on customer service. Shout out to Steve the manager, Elsa the concierge, Enrique the bartender/waiter, Tyree and Jahsan the water sports workers. The grounds were well maintained and breakfast was tasty and fulfilling. If you are looking for true R&R and away from the hustle and bustle of the town area, this is the place to go. It is located about 20 minutes from town and they have golf carts available to rent should you want to go into town (and not use a driver). I was there with my sister and a good friend. (Ages 50s/60s).
